16th year in a row spending New Year's at home. How fun.

I'm watching Dick Clark on TV watching him say his annual little thingie.
Well, tomorrow my friends that I've known since I moved here are coming here tomorrow with their parents. THAT should be exciting. I hope that everything goes well with my very sick cousin back home (parfaite). She unfourtunately had a stroke and is paralyzed on her left side. I hope that she can be strong and live through it.

2 minutes to go && on TV, I can see how everybody is going crazy in Times Square. Isn't it weird how i've lived in NY for so long and I haven't even seen the ball drop live?

Scratch that.

Currently obsessed with : Streetlights - Kanye West. <-- His ENTIRE album is amazing. I feel like buying it. Ok. So hold off what I said about the Sony Cybershot DSC-T700. I think I may want to get this baby first. The oh so sexy, && oh so powerful Nikon D80. No no Esmeralda, don't do that. The camera's HUGE..but beautiful. AND expensive : $$ 520. I know what i'll do. I'll hold off on that until February then start saving up for it. I'll get my sexy Cybershot && LX..and THEN get this baby. Who knows..maybe the pops might even want to get this one for himself :P

Current Finances && Swatch

Today. I went into the city with my brother for him to get his new phone : LG Viewty in White.






That is a really nice small compact 5 megapixel camera phone. The people who we bought it from were pretty sketchy.. From the very beginning, the first guy told us he would sell it to us foe $399.99. My brother & I had already been on their website where they advertised it for $299.99 (A HUNDRED DOLLARS CHEAPER). Then the second guy came out & said he would give it to us for 363.99 because of the tax and the "shipping && handling". THEN, the third guy, who I think was the manager came out & told us that he would give it to us for $325. At this point my brother & I were basically not convinced and were half way out the door. THEN, RIGHT when we were leaving he said..OK OK! $300! After all that unnecessary juggling..he gave it to us for $300. We already know that we are never going there again. Then, across the street, we went to the Swatch store. I was SO happy to finally find this store because the watch that I bought in the airplane was a Swatch watch, but was too big for my wrist so was constantly slipping all the way down to my midarm. They fixed it for me. THEN! then..here's the best part. I started asking questions about my old watch, still a swatch watch that I also bought in the airplane. Supposedly, you're supposed to have some sort of 'warrenty card' but since I bought it in the sky..the hostesses didn't stamp it. So the manager, in the kindness of her heart made a warrenty card for me so that the next time I go in, they can do an exchange for the exact watch for free..no more questions asked. I was so extactic. I already told my brother that we're going back tomorrow LOL! Yeah. So on to my finances.

DILEMNA!

Song//Music Video that is currently on repeat : Kiss Me Thru The Phone - Soulja Boy <-- he's really getting a hang of this whole Hip Hop thing. It's nice to see him a little softer. Are those stripe-looking things on his eyebrows for style? He's looking so clean and fresh && uber cute these past songs :P

Current Mood : Confused !! <-- Read to understand why --> In the previous post, I raved about how I just wanted three things : Sony Cybershot DSC-T700, a personalized name necklace && a personalized 2-finger name ring. SCRATCH THAT! I have completely changed my list and it currently just consists of two things : The oh so amazing Cybershot DSC-T700 && the NEW (to the list, not new at all) Sidekick LX (in brown preferably!). I really have started to miss my sidekick in the past year since it broke && since I've started using my blackberry.



1. The sidekicks are so flashy && attractive. I mean who doesn't like that right? 2. I'm a fiend for the little noises it makes when you swivel the screen && I LOVE TO SWIVEL THE SCREEN! 3. It's a really fun phone that grabs anyone's attention. 4. THE CASES! I can accessorize this thing like crazy. -- Gyvergear.com -- Strapya-world.com

--> Ok. So perhaps it isn't the BEST phone out there but for me, it has everything I need. I can blog from it, I can see videos on it, I can take pictures on it (2 mega pixel..not amazing but I can use an actual digital camera for that) && I CAN TEXT! Oh..and AIM && MSN && YAHOO && MYSPACE too. --> I love this phone. I've been searching the web && have joined various sidekick sites such as : poweredbydanger.com && have become very interested in Hiptop3.com.

On to the dilemna.

--> I don't know if I should hold off on getting the LX && get my camera first...or hold off on getting the camera && get the LX. See, if I get the camera, I can do my daily fashion pix that I want to do..I can record videos...If I get the LX, I can have it!..I can have an amazing looking phone && I can have fun with it. I mean a digital camera is fun..but you don't use it ALL the time. Most of our time is spent at school and everyone knows that people text && call at school. If I get the LX...I can get right back on the texting and chatting train again! I mean, I'll still use my Blackberry Curve in Gold but since my new thing is "constantly changing", I can always alter between the 3 devices (possibly four if my brother gets the LG Viewty that he's in love with <-- 5 megapixel!) : Blackberry, Sidekick 3 && Sidekick LX. I think I may just start collecting them. Plus, it's something that I will ALWAYS have. My dad wanted to get a camera ANYWAYS...so I can just suggest this one to him and if he gets it..that'll allow me to get my LX! Omg, I just want them both. This sucks. What do I do? I'll listen to my brothers advice and sit quietly for like 10 minutes and let my 'heart' figure it out...sigh..dilemnas suck big time.

• Ya'll already know how much I'm in love with this camera. What can I say? I like a strong && sturdy build :P

2. Personalized 14K Gold Necklace $$139.99

• UBER cute. I want this even more than I want the ring. This will look good with basically everything. I have a dilemna though. I don't know which name to pick. Esmeralda's way longer so yeah..Esmeralda's good.
  

3. 14k Personalized Two Finger Name Ring $$248.99 //98.99 in silver

• Super cute! I really want this to match my Esmeraldaa necklace. Yeah. You can pretty much say i'm in love with my name =] Don't worry. I won't be wearing them both at the same time..come on..i'm not THAT crazy about my name

I heart T-Mobile Customer Care

I legit called in about 5 times today && each time the customer care representative was professional and showed that they really cared about my problem. But the 2nd time I called in about my sidekick, the person was a bit TOO friendly. He started asking me about the weather (which was fine), about what I got for xmas (still ok..but kinda weird)..then he asked my ethnicity. HE ASKED MY ETHINICITY. That wasn't even the worst part. THEN he started talking about HIMSELF && how he's 18 years old blah blah just got a new apartment... I was listening like "is this guy for REAL?"

Besides that, T-Mobile was able to help me with my problems even though it took me 5 different representatives to do so. OH! And before I conclude..may I say that that voice operated system that T-Mobile has when you first call them is NOT cool. I hate it when they ask for your number, last four digits && when they finally connect you to the Customer Service Representative (if they connect you to the right person), the CSR ends up asking you for the same information that you already provided. T-Mobile LISTEN UP! That thing isn't working. Half the time I say "Sidekick" && they say "Change your service? Ok!" And I can't even change their mind. *sigh*

I'm just happy that my new sidekick is in the mail and will be in my hands pretty soon. I still have some saving up to do until I get my new camera but when my parents get back from Virginia on Monday, I will be sure to upload daily pictures of my outfit and other random stuff as well.

Random note : I feel as if I have more inspiration or more to write at 3 AM then I do at 3 PM. Am I the only one? Hm..

Anyways.. I hope you guys had a fantabulous Christmas (for those who celebrate) or just had a merry 25th of December.

Sidekick 3 && Blackberry

Good Morning Bloggsters && Merry Christmas!

LUCKiLY, for XMAS I got money (350$) && like I said in the previous post, I really want to get myself that Sony Cybershot DSC-T700. But with that said, there are some other items that have caught my eye here on the internet . <-- I think I'm addicted :P Randomly, yesterday I decided to call into T-mobile Customer Service because my Blackberry trackball and little ring thing have been falling off randomly every 5 seconds for the past week. Turns out it's broken and due to that T-Mobile won't fix it for free. I'll have to go through the insurance company and pay the deductible (usually roughly around $120). I decided to look around on eBay to see what I could find and ho and behold, the trackball && ring were available for $4.90 with FREE SHIPPING!

Then, I decided to try my luck with my Sidekick 3. I saw it laying on my desk for a while, lifeless so I decided to start using it again. I got out the charger and I shortly realized what my old problem was -- the charging port. I had called in before with the same problem and they said that they couldn't fix it without me paying the deductible of $110 because I was no longer under warranty. Luckily for me, the guy realized that because I had insurance on my telephone line, I would be able to fix it for free! After 4 calls and a long waiting time, I finally got them to set up the FREE exchange for me. I'm expecting my new and spanking fresh Sidekick 3 to arrive to me within the week or next. One thing that I wouldn't mind getting is a really nice case for my SK3. Paris looks beautiful in this picture but her phone looks a tab better :P It's pretty && pretty expensive as well :( I can dream...right?


I'm having lots of fun looking around the web and tips && tricks of the Sidekick 3 and have yet to find a FREE unlock code for this thing :(
Oh well, it's still fun. As for my blackberry curve, I'm going to let my brother use it for the time being because his phone has been giving him some problems lately. He has that exact phone minus the helio part. I like it but I usually find myself calling people by accident due to the touch settings on the phone.

Christmas && New Camera Perhaps?

• I hope that you all have a FANTASTIC Christmas and cherish the time you spend with your family. Maybe it's just that I'm getting older, but Christmas to me is no longer about receiving the presents, but about spending quality time with my family. I am so lucky to still live with both my siblings (a brother, 22 && a sister, 26) and both my parents. Being the youngest, people often say that we are the spoiled ones (which isn't ALWAYS true..well for the most part it is), I have for the most part been blessed && have received what I've wanted. As the years pass, I realize that life isn't all about material things and tangible items but about love and family. Slowly, I am finally understanding it.

• For maybe 2 or 3 years now, I don't really ask for anything anymore. I am happy if I get anything and I am still just as happy if I don't get anything

• As a gift to MYSELF, I'm trying to save up my money to get myself a new digital camera because I usually borrow my mom's Nikon or my dad's Canon, both of which are outdated. The one camera that I truly really want is the "Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T700 Digital Camera in Red. "

I've done all my research and can honestly say that this camera is the best out there for ME. On BHPHOTO.COM, the listed price is $342.35 after 50$ instant rebate which is the best price out there at the moment. Hair Regimen =]

I'm kind of a serial online shopper when it comes to hair and makeup so I have an excessive amount of hair products. It can get pretty ridiculous at times :) but I love them non the less.

There are in no particular order && keep in mind that I don't use them all.

New Blog!

Hello!

So, this is my 3rd blog that I've ever made && I am hoping that I will keep this one up to date with pictures and videos!

The reasons for creating this blog :

1. It's the new year, so I want to see if I can stick with all my resolutions.
- Get in better shape
- Take better care of my hair
- Do better in school
- Be a better person

= Corny, I know. But oh wells! =]

2. Keep up with my hair regimen.
3. Have something to look back on years from now and see my progression as a person.
4. Just for fun!

Since this whole blogging thing is new to me, I will probably change my background like everyday. I always love to read people's blogs but have never actually kept up with one of my owns.

So this is going to be a challenge for me, but i'm SURE that I can do this..right?
